| 352781 | 2005-05-06 09:51:00 | I have a dos based program that I am trying to run on XP. It asks that I go to config.sys and enter files = 101 or greater. How do I do this? | lulman (8052) | ||
| 352782 | 2005-05-06 09:57:00 | It may or may not work with XP, since XP doesnt have DOS. (You can't shut down, and go into DOS, like previous versions of Windows). And usually there's nothing in config.sys in XP. Only the command prompt once, u boot into XP. If that program ONLY runs from pure DOS (not within XP), I doubt it'll work. |
