| 353442 | 2005-05-09 02:12:00 | Howdy I am currently using firefox 1.03 and have Jetstreams 256 k " broadband" package on a WinXP SP2 system. If I start downloading a largish file (several Mb for instance) it starts downloading at ~ 31 Kb/s which is normal (much better than dial up 5 Kb/s :) ). However the download seems to take up all the available bandwidth and won't share :( (ie if I try to download a second file or even try to access a new webpage it tries to load and after 30 sec or so comes up with a page error message). If I pause the download everything is fine but it is most annoying. Anyone know of any tweaks to the about:config, or other settings that may fix this so the firefox uses the bandwidth more effeciently? Cheers Ravage |

| 353447 | 2005-05-09 07:40:00 | I haven't manually changed anything, although I did apply one of those tweaks that was mentioned on the forum several weeks ago. There were no problems then and everything worked fine. This problem did not seem to occur until last night (maybe the night before, not sure). What settings should I be checking in about:config ?
