353277 2005-05-08 22:20:00 Kids Kids Kids, this isn't a 'My Symantec is bigger than yours' forum.

Sheesh

I checked out the Secretsof website, doesn't seem anything untoward there.

As for strange that you and your daughter caught the same virus on the same day... Sobig is an email virus, and if your daughter is in your email list, it would have sent out automatically to her ... or vice versa.
And because it usually spoofs (fakes) the senders address, you will never know where you got it from

353278 2005-05-08 22:51:00 We're not talking about Systemworks. Thats something TOTALLY different.
not really. system works usually includes antivirus and both use the same GUI. makes no difference if have nortons antivirus in system works or seperate.

353279 2005-05-08 23:10:00 Well, it might include the AV but does it include the firewall like NIS 2003? Speedy Gonzales (78)
353280 2005-05-09 00:16:00 NIS is normally seperate. but having said that nortons programs are all seperate, its only the GUI that makes them look like they are together. tweak'e (69)
