353569 2005-05-09 06:36:00 I have booted a computer and received an error:
Fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C001539A

I haven't been able to find anything that will help me diagnos this problem.
Can anyone help?

353570 2005-05-09 06:41:00 Does it happen only when booting? What version of Windows?

Does it show a file in this error?

353571 2005-05-09 06:42:00 At what stage do you get this error? Has Windows loaded or this during boot up? What operating system do you use? Have you made any changes to your system prior to this error occuring? Jen (38)

happens after the initial booting, but shows up short of a complete boot.
(Leading me to believe there is a fault in something the computer is trying to load)

353573 2005-05-09 06:45:00 Google has 35 hits on this exact error.
www.google.com

Are you saying none of them work for you?

Please note that it is likely to be 0E, not OE

353576 2005-05-09 06:52:00 0D says it relates to Mcafees software. It sounds like 2 programs are conflicting when u bootup.

What's in startup when u boot up??

353577 2005-05-09 06:59:00 I was able to booted into safe mode and found the computer was running both InoculateIT and AVG!
I removed InoculateIT & a few other unnecessary startup programs and rebooted successfully.

Thank you
