just recently my A: drive has disappeared from my computer all cables are connected and device manager says there is nothing wrong but no a:drive plz help i cannot do any school assignments |

Go into the BIOS see if the floppy (A) is enabled. |

Further to Speedy comment have you in Device Manager | cl + Floppy Disk Drives | right cl Floppy Disk Drive | Properties | General | Device Usage, is this set to "Use this device (enable)"?and not disable.
Whilst on this window you could cl Troubleshoot. |

If dead Dick Smith 3.5" Floppy Drive Cat No XH5308 at $28.77 may be a suitable replacement. |
