2005-05-09 23:18:00 :xmouth: I have a problem with my PC Company computer. It starts OK ie All the icons etc come up and I can run PC cillin, AVG, Spybot and Adaware. I could go into My Pictures folder and shift all the pictures into one folder to down load to disk but as soon as Iclick on CD Creator- Blue screen. Same thing happens if Itry to do something simple like play cards from Accessories. I've run all the Virus & Spyware programs above with system restore off and they couldn't find any thing. Any ideas? Thanks,Clod :nerd: Clod (7853)
2005-05-09 23:24:00 Do you have two antivirus programs loaded, monitoring your system at the same time, this may cause you all sorts of problems, if so kill one of them. Rob99 (151)

2005-05-11 02:11:00 I think you might be right re AVG. have disabled it and every thing appears OK. Will now delete it. Thanks for your help. Clod :)

2005-05-26 09:23:00 Hi Again
This may help somebody. Removed AVG thought I'd fixed it but it came back. When shutting tasks down to do scan-disk etc saw file Kb891711. Looked up Google and apparently its a windows update the 1st version of which was faulty when released. Deleted it and so far had no problems.(fingers crossed) :D Cheers, Clod
