| 353765 | 2005-05-09 23:17:00 | In the last month my pc while working properly, suddenly turns off. Power is all off. When I try to restart it, while power is on again (fans working fine, cpu fan ok), windows won't start. I don't even get POSTING and screen is all blakc. I have tried several tricks. Once I removed cpu fan, reapplied thermal paste and it worked. When it happened again a few days later, I simply moved cpu fan a little. Last night I remove the power supplier, opened it but I could not see anything wrong (not that I am a mechanic or anything). When I put it back in place, the pc worked. Any ideas? The pc is quite new and honestly I cannot figure out what the problem could be. |
