| 353668 | 2005-05-28 12:05:00 | i tried downloading ie6 from the website but i only get the setup which is only 480mb. when i tried to install it required the internet (ironic, eh?). I tried on another computer but it has xp running so would not download the files. can I try netscape? |

| 353669 | 2005-05-28 21:25:00 | Well u can try Netscape but it wont fix the prob you're having. Yup thats the only prob with the install file for IE 6 SP1. You have to be on the net to install it and its from 25 to 75 mb depending on what u select to install. It'll be better if u can find a cd with it on, from a mate, or someone u know. The only prob is Netscape does the same thing! Netscape is only small, BUT you have to stay online to download it as well. |

| 353670 | 2005-05-30 07:19:00 | I found a cd(actually it was a pcworld cd) with IE6 on but unfortunately it didn'twork either. I notice that prior to dialing up the beeps used in sticky keys make the correct beep but when online, they sound softer. Anyway I give up. I'll get someone to look at it. There is a program that can mirror your hard drive isnt there? Just in case Windows has to be reinstalled. Thanks for all your help. | mumbo (8069) | ||
