| 354146 | 2005-05-11 09:33:00 | Ok, I found a thread talking about this from a couple of years ago however time for a new one methinks . A friend on Xtra has been having difficulty logging in at http://mail . yahoo . com today . Some searching on the net has led me to believe it's a blocking technique used by Yahoo! to minimise effect of viruses/ddoses etc :groan: Assisted said friend with an alternative login URL and she got on fine . I'm now starting to spot the same thing happening to my clients, so I'm guessing that our proxys are being blacklisted by Yahoo! Am interested if anyone else has experienced the same difficulties of late just to get a gauge on the scope of the problem . |
