I don't have a 'decent' enough Internet connection to do it that way. Is there any way I can install Debian on my older PC by sharing the DVD Drive on my laptop? |

That way, a floppy boot into a debian installer could interface with said machine as if it were an official host. | Growly (6) | ||

There might be a boot floppy image to get the installation started. Have a look at the text files on the Debian installation disk. They will tell you what means you can use. (They are standard text or html files, and readable on a Windows machine). There's probably a way to put the installation files on the destination machine's hard drive (if it's big enough) and install from that. |
