| 354626 | 2005-05-13 06:03:00 | Ok i have a DI-624+ wireless router and 3PCs which connect wireless to it. (no problem) My DI-624+ has a WAN port connected to the DSL modem and 4 lan ports Recently i had a LAN party of about 15 people at my place and we brought plenty of switches and hubs to hook it up. Internet and everything was running fine. But when we tried to play LAN games ie Counter strike or Warcraft, only the people connected to the wireless router wirelessly and wiredly can see each other in LAN and the people who were hooked up onto the switch which also connected to my DI-624+ could see each other but wireless people cant see the other people hooked up to the switch vice versa. Heres my setup: DI-624+ 3 wireless computers WAN port - connected to my DSL modem Port 1 - A computer Port 2 - B computer Port 3 - C computer Port 4 - Switch (8 people) Switch (8people) Port 1 - connected port 2 - connected etc,..... I called up DI-624+ they say it can support up to 25 comps wireless and wiredly. Plz help |

(Ie connecting to the switch).. maybe what they meant was that up to 25 computers can be connected wirelessly... And so, no one on your switch is connected. Failing that, try to assign all the computers static ip addresses. |
