354509 2005-05-12 18:47:00 Hello to you all
I have been trying to install the sound driver for this machine,
a computer with 2 OS on it. One partition win 2000 and XP pro on the other. It works fine on win 2000 but we have not been able to get the sound going on the other.
I have tried the SIS 7012 audio from the sis website-no success!
Any idea?
Below the specs of everest
Thanks for any help

354511 2005-05-13 03:05:00 Hello 4bes
Thanks
I had a try with those drivers some time ago and did not manage to install.
Is there anything special to lookout for while installing a sound driver?
Countles times I have tried and I am quite frustrated by now.
Any other hints?

354512 2005-05-13 10:22:00 Remove all sound drivers from device manager. Uninstall any software related to the sound card (or sound chip) from Add/Remove also.
Then reboot and let windows find it then point it to that driver.
