| 354749 | 2005-05-13 10:00:00 | I set out this afternoon to upgrade my Catalyst drivers. For my Radeon 9800 pro video card. After removing the old drivers I downloaded the new ones . Then I noticed a message saying the drivers needed to have msn.net installed. So I downloaded msn .net 1.011 installed it and then catalyst. The result was bloody aweful. I was trying to get the best quality pictures in MS flight Simulator 2004. The picture was as if it was late evening , not mid-day. After a lot of playing around I gave it up and uninstalled the lot. As I started to install the drives I noticed it was installing msn.net 1.01. So it seems I had two versions of it installed. Slightly different. Looks like that might have been the cause of the problem. Anyway I installed it all and reinstalled my addons. Thing now runs as it did before I started my improvements. The picture taken at mid-day under a blue sky still looks, at ground level, as if it's a dreer overcast day. No matter how much adjusting I do I can't improve it. Has anyone got any ideas how to make it look like mid summer on the ground? |
