| 355660 | 2005-05-17 02:53:00 | Did u install Pro over Home?? See if XP Home shows in add/remove programs. If it doesn't it maybe a bit hard figuring out what SHOULD be deleted. |

I had that done when the old pc went belly up.They installed a new hard drive and saved all off the old one as--guess it--Old Files.So then I had to go through them all and save the stuff I wanted to,then deleted the Folder,which had the old Windows installation in it. Make sense? Just doing that now for my sister,trouble is I don't know which programs she had running and now has running,so am comparing the "old" with "new".So far nothing's stopped working! |

Ok, That is sort of the case cept its the same HD and comp. the files aren't labled at all as old or anything else of the sort. The files are simply there, and i know this b/c i have seen them come up on searches such as Atari files from an old game, but i don't know where to even look for these files :annoyed: |
