1386094 2014-10-11 21:50:00 adobe keeps bugging me to down load the update so I get adobe reader X1 and when I read something say I'm at page 20 then I turn it off and when I turn it back on again it takes me to page 1 stead of page 20 where I left off. How can I fix this? lostsoul62 (16011)

1386098 2014-10-16 10:02:00 I seldom use Adobe Reader before but since I needed it these days, I have no choice but to make use of it. This has been my problem as well. It won't go to the current page I'm reading after closing it. Thanks for the help. ruellesmith (17277)
1386099 2014-10-16 17:37:00 I haven't used Adobe reader for about 5 years, I used to use Sumatra reader now I use Nitro which is excellent and such a small download compared to Adobe and no constant nagging wanting to update gary67 (56)

You can turn off the updater under preferences of Adobe.. I tend to do that with some of the software I use. Even for Windows. But I do the updates when I feel like it.
