| 1384892 | 2014-09-28 06:50:00 | thanks for that "Wainui" - same result as when I tried the forum answer, both still locked - not much of a problem , just a nuisance really, I've changed the display from 30 minutes to 10 so unless there's a problem I'll live with it, thank you again | jayal (1291) | ||
| 1384893 | 2014-09-29 01:06:00 | Could be the power button or associated circuitry is actually faulty. I've replaced the buttons on a monitor and TV which were bad, and also replaced a shorted debounce capacitor on another monitor which caused all buttons to fail to work. | Agent_24 (57) | ||
| 1384894 | 2014-09-29 02:12:00 | that would be way beyond my capabilities thanks "Agent_24" I think I'll just leave it as is till it manifests itself any further, then a new monitor? | jayal (1291) | ||
| 1384895 | 2014-09-29 22:30:00 | You probably already have but try holding the buttons for 15 rather than the 10 seconds quoted in the manual also try press and hold the down button before you press the power button and visa versa. Fortunately monitors are rather cheap nowadays. I still use a Sony 19" LCD one I paid $2k for not that many years back. A better one now is more like $2-300. | CliveM (6007) | ||
