1371495 2014-03-28 20:05:00 Here's a short presentation of the Airport's vision for the next 30 years .

The next questions are; what do we do with all the passengers these 260,000 flights once they land . What do they want to do? How do they get there?

The challenge Auckland City has is how to match the ground transportation to and from the airport .

The challenge the tourist and hospitality industry has is how to maintain those high standards set by the AKL Gateway throughout the rest of the country .

At last, an entity with a vision for the future . Well done, Auckland International Airport .

1371496 2014-03-28 22:00:00 Wonder how much more the air fares will go up to pay for it??
The other challenge , what to do with it when there is an oil crisis and the airlines go bankrupt??

God, you JAFAs are so full of yourselves .

What makes you think everyone in the rest of the country gives a toss what you do?

If you don't then we will keep all the tax we generate for ourselves..

Some of their press releases should get at least an honourable mention for the Man Booker Prize too! While lacking in length to be considered a novel, they all show a vivid imagination and offer fiction with flair that gives a very novel interpretation of the truly nebulous (well, at least they have neat printing).

And we can loan our surplus (at commercial rates) to Wellington to build an extension to their solitary runway, to Christchurch for its re-build, and, and, and ...

Dissenters and lefties will be declared persona non grata and exiled south of the Bombays ... R2x1 is currently running favourite to become one of the first such :D

Hone Harawira and his mum have expressed a desire to live in J'ville; we'll actively orchestrate their relocation there . . .

1371502 2014-03-29 02:17:00 As a former resident of the crest of the Bombays, I can say been there, done that. Yuppies to the North, fog bound savages to the South; it was like living on a knife edge. ;) R2x1 (4628)

One person I was talking to a few months back moved from the USA to NZ, she told me that when she arrived in Auckland, after being there for a week, they were seriously thinking , if this is what NZ is like then why move, may have well stayed in the USA . After they moved to other parts of NZ, they changed their minds . Now love the country as they move down and said they wouldn't go back to Auckland unless they really had to .

If you don't then we will keep all the tax we generate for ourselves . AND when something turns to ****, and costs millions more than budgeted as everything does, its the rest of the country that AGAIN has to bail akl out .

The then people of Auckland all cry foul when the cost of living goes up, rates go higher :crying

1371504 2014-03-29 05:35:00 The thing is for people from overseas to visit Wellington they need to come in from Auckland to visit all the hick towns. prefect (6291)
