| 1385522 | 2014-10-03 06:43:00 | I have gone back to SD V1. Found V2 a bit bloated. For some reason it would freeze sometimes during a scan and not respond.. Might go back to it. Note on SD V1 - for those that don't know there is a fast scan option(s) (called minimal spyware check). Needs to be activated on the file sets button. Tick show expert buttons (scroll down a bit near end) after clicking 1. settings within the (2. settings) tab menu. It will also turn on/present the the pause button. Minimal check on my PC takes about 1 minute or so compared to a 40 min full standard scan. Full scan then turned back on by ticking/selecting all available checks within the file sets button. |

| 1385523 | 2014-10-04 05:30:00 | I took Spybot 2.4 update some time ago. I have no issues with it . Like most version changes the layout varied from 1.6 but not a major to adjust to. I also use C Cleaner which I run every time after exiting the Internet ( that is just my way). Detections of spyware type issues under Spybot are infrequent but I have had a few which I immediately cleaned. Neil |
