356430 2005-05-18 11:21:00 Can I use DDR ram on a motherboad supports DDR2? For example, ASUS P5AD2-E Premium motherboard? Or I must use DDR2 ram?

Cheers

356431 2005-05-18 11:42:00 How were you planning on plugging it in, with a hammer?

Or does that motherboad have sockets for each (don't think so)?

DDR2 memory is not compatible with DDR slots as far as I know as it uses a 240 pin form factor.

Also DDR2 voltage is 1.8v, vs 2.5 for DDR
