I downloaded that program a couple of weeks ago after seeing it recommended here and it has been in constant use since. Have recovered several hundred MB of disk space by ditching multiple and duplicate photos from all over the hard drive.

Tried the original Picassa and didn't like it but plan to install and try Picassa 2 before the end of the week. Will be interested to see if it is better than FastStone.

It's a 1.6MB download, completely free and comes with al the features I've seen in pay-for programmes. Except, I think, layers. I don't use then anyway.
