| 357175 | 2005-05-21 05:13:00 | Ive a curly one. Changed to a Uniden portable phone from Telecom standard wall mounted model. Now my DlinkDFM-560E modem wont dial up UNLESS the phone is nearby and switched on! Contacted Uniden - they tested and are baffled - suggest modem must be at fault. Once connected the modem works fine. Any ideas? Lopper | lopper (8170) | ||

Its hard to see how that would affect it, but we don't know if your house wiring is correct. What happens if the Uniden is unplugged from the phone circuit at the wall? |
