| 356979 | 2005-05-20 09:26:00 | Hi people I have received this email You are in the general coverage area for our new Otahuhu transmitter coming online end of this month. If you have Line of Site from the roof of your residence to the transmitter which is located on the pyramid shaped radio tower at Transpower's Otahuhu substation you may be able to receive our service. If you do not have Line of Site in this direction I can keep your contact details on our database and email you again when we have another site online that may encompass your address. I live in howick and now i am very interested in wired country because i play alot of games + downloading Now i am trying to choose an good ISP for wired country plz post your experiences with your wired country ISP thanks :) (the ISP's i can think off the top of my head now are Ihug, Worldnet, Wave) but i dont know which one is the best ICONZ offers residential WC at $99 per month for 1mbit updown so thats out of question for me :S thanks |

I would reckon that they would all perform similarly, since the connection from the ISP to your home is by wired country, same company anyway... |

| 356988 | 2005-05-21 12:38:00 | Well, I download quite a lot as well.... As a worldnet user, well, Skype (internet telephony) is pretty good when I call, so the latency is quite good.... As for downloads, with about 5 torrents going, I can manage about 230kbps, that's about the top speed, around 150kbps is average... So, speed wise, pretty good... |
