i've been using microsoft outlook to send emails, and when i click on the box to enter the recipient of the emails address, it use to let me type in the first few letters of the persons name and it would fill in the rest automatically, but it no longer works..does anyone know who i can make outlook 2000 do this again???

356602 2005-05-19 04:55:00 From the Outlook Tools menu, click Options .. . .

Click the Preferences tab, then click Email Options .. . .

Click Advanced Email Options .. . , then select the checkbox next to Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields. Then click OK to close each of the three open window

356605 2005-05-19 11:41:00 Mr_Crust, are you referring to when you are composing an email, and click on the "to" Button, which brings up the "Select Names" window? If you are, then I don't think Safari's suggestion is relevant.

BTW, in Outlook 2000 I can't find the option Safari refers to either - maybe that is in a different version of Outlook.

None of this helps solve your problem, but it may make the confusion slightly less. :)
