| 357343 | 2005-05-22 02:17:00 | You want a minimum of a 6600GT, that one is a plain vanilla 6600. And get 1 Gb of ram. |

| 357344 | 2005-05-22 02:34:00 | Yep you want a gig of ram. I'd tend to forget about the CRT. I'd make sure the power supply is any good. You probably want some better speaker than the monitor ones. And I'd get a slightly better video card. Heh a floppy drive... |

| 357346 | 2005-05-22 05:52:00 | CRTs are 'last century' technology. But if you have the room on the desk and do not mind big old hulks in front of your eyes, then the 19in CRT would be OK. LCD screens have come way down in price over the last year, and if I was in your place I'd be happy with the 17in LCD which is what I have now. 1G RAM - definitely. The PB Technology techies/sales people that I have spoken with in recent years have been very helpful. If you are not cash strapped, just go through each item and ask how much it would cost to upgrade. You may find, as I did, that you can get better components for not much extra $$. |
