This one (sdlc1a.sun.com 019392DABC4)

Click on accept, and select the first download. 13.89 MB.

Thats the one the Java (TM) SE runtime Enviroment 6 entry in add/remove programs. Uninstall it.

Try tools / internet options / advanced tab, click on reset to reset everything.

Then see if IE works properly.

357461 2007-09-26 14:19:00 Your link to the download [first download. 13.89 MB] does not direct me on my computer, to a specific download. Can you please check this, or give me the name of the download. I have also un-installed my current java that you clarified. IE still not responding. cammot (8181)

Quick follow up to my last post. I just wanted to let you know that I finally got IE to respond and starting working fine now. Thanks to you for all your help and suggestions. I found the java link in question and installed it. But what I think did the trick was your last suggestion, i.e. tools / internet options / advanced tab, click on reset to reset everything.

Pleased and back to normal. Thanks again.
