| 357301 | 2005-05-22 00:32:00 | Ive never done this but VCD's do not have the same quality as a DVD so all you would be doing is effectively creating a DVD disc with the same quality as the source but not having to swap CD discs. If you think its worth the effort then snoop around www.videohelp.com | Parry (5696) | ||

If you think its worth the effort then snoop around www.videohelp.com Well i do not have the dvds with me. These are the movies i have just downloaded from p2p programs. Which are in Xvid quality and after i have converted it with cucusoft avi-vcd program. The quality is still really nice and file size is abot 900mb. I was suprised my selft of the quality of the vcd it converted really good for 900mb. so i was thinking i can burn upto 4 movies in 1 dvd-r. :) |

Only thing is, it might complain that the dvd/vcd plugin isnt installed . So u can burn what you have . Some of the Nero plugins aren't free . Some VCD's arent as good as DVD, or near DVD quality . But they're still good enough to watch it . A better thing to do, is get the things u want, so u have as much as a DVD, then use Nerovision or some other program, add titles/menus for whatever, and then burn it as a DVD . This way, you wont waste 3gb or so just burning 1 file to a 4 . 7 GB DVD . Depends on how modern/recent your external DVD player is . Not all DVD players can play/read burned DVD's . |
