357992 2005-05-24 07:50:00 I get a STOP Error, IRQ_NOT_EQUAL or something like that when it finishes the burn and starts to write the Track-Out information.

Doesnt happen with cheaper Auriga discs, nor Ricoh... Only TDK!?!

Any ideas why?

Chill.

357993 2005-05-24 08:00:00 Tried switching IDE channels? Updating burner firmware?

Second thought, have you tried Knoppix/Morphix/DSL/Ubuntu live etcetera to see if it workes under a different OS?

357994 2005-05-24 13:57:00 I cant really open the box without voiding the companies warranty, and Im skeptical about updating the firmware too (Have local admin rights, but dont wanna have to go explain why a Firmware Update failed to the head of IT).

Knoppix and the rest sound like a good idea though :)

357995 2005-05-24 21:35:00 Because CD/DVD writers are annoying and can be fussy as to what disks they'll happily burn. Jeremy (1197)

357997 2005-05-24 23:29:00 Tried Nero, CDBurnXP, Roxio... All burn at the max 40x and nothing else.

I'll see about bringing in Knoppix tomorrow
