2005-05-23 12:01:00 | When you start to get to around 16,000 mp3 files on your computer, things can get complicated. I am a ... well ... freak when it comes to organising my music, I will not settle for anything sub standard. I have all my music (using Widnows folders) sorted into types and the artist and the album. Have even added (yes, there is not one folder without one) pictures to the folders to show the artist and then the sub folder .. the album cover. I have come across that the ID tags (that is what they are called isn't it???) are a complete mess. And also the file names themselves are a bit of a mess, some have stupid website advertising at the end of them. So some of them look like this: Audioslave - Out Of Exile - Be yourself www.mp3torrent.com.mp3 or Audioslave - Be Yourself.mp3 of .. like ... In the folder Audioslave, then in the folder Out Of Exile, the file will be Be Yourself.mp3 (of course theres are only explames, that spacific file is fine). What I am wondering (sorry for babilling on) was ... Is there a program to take care of all this, the file names AND the ID tags? (both versions). What I would like the best would be a file that looks like this: F:\Altervative Music\AudioSlave\Out of Excile\03 - Be Youself.mp3 so the 03 is the track number and yea ... I hope you get what I mean. I'm looking for somthing that could do this automatically, instead of me having to do this manually which would take a VERY long time because it's not only the file names that are a mess, its the ID tags too. Any help would be great  Cheers

2005-05-23 12:28:00 | I am going to buy it, downloaded it to judge whether I should buy it or not but its a great CD ... That doesn't answer my question and I'm sure that useless posting isn't a good idea. | ProMaz (34) | |
2005-05-23 12:33:00 | but posting asking for advice on stolen data is? How many dollars worth of songs do you have?, Yet you don't even have the smarts to use a song that you could have aquired legally. You deserve no more help then some douchebag trying to get his copy of Sims2 running. Whats next?,need a Windows serial by any chance?

2005-05-23 12:35:00 | Oh yeah, Its a crap CD, He should have called it a day after UltramegaOK, its been all down hill since, And teaming up with pretend communists is just weak. | Metla (12) | |
2005-05-23 12:38:00 | Well thanks for that. Oh, and it's easy to get a copy of Sim's two to work, just use Daemons Tools (lastest version) and a ghost image of the first CD which you can download. You mount it like a normal image, it shows all the files and the normal file sizes BUT they are all 0 bytes meaning the game thinks a legit CD is in your computer, don't know why a real image doesn't work. Hope that answers YOUR question :D | ProMaz (34) | |
2005-05-23 12:48:00 | I would rather have 6 inch nails driven into my eyes and have my hands broken with hammer blows then be subjected to any of the Sims line of games, Nor would I seek advice from someone who can't find an mp3 catologer, or whom would seek advice on pirate data. | Metla (12) | |
