| 357711 | 2005-05-23 07:20:00 | Hey!!! My names Nick... Um I just have a question to ask that I need help with. I have just recently got a new computer. and I thought I would connect my xbox up to it through S-Video. So I brought in my Xbox and connected it all up to my Graphics Card (Radeon X850xt 256meg pe). Once I had done that I knew from previous troubles that I needed to have WDM drivers installed for my graphics card in order for the Xbox to be read. Well sure enough they were installed. But now I needed a WDM Player. Thats where I am now stuck. Does anyone know of Any good WDM players that will work with an Xbox? I have tried the following Virtual VCR (no good because the xbox display is fuzzy and you cant change the resultion any higher than 640x480) Virtual Dub (no good because the resolution is small and also not reliable) Well I cannot seem to find anymore on the net that are free to download. So can anyone help me by replying to this thread:D Cheers Nick |

If you can get one of these programs to switch to full-screen rather than windowed mode you may find that the picture is acceptable. Mike. |

But yes a full screen mode would be good. Because that way it wouldnt still looks normall in a way Well I guess ill just stick to Virtual Dub for now lol Thanks for your reply Nick P.S If anyone still knows of any programs please send me information :D |

Connect the X-box to your graphics card's Video In then start up your video capture program. Select your source which should be something like capture analog video or similar. Change to full screen and hey presto there it is. I use Cyberlink PowerDirector Pro. I haven't connected my X-box to the PC since getting my x800xt but it worked great with my TV capture card. Hope that makes sense. cheers chiefnz |
