| 357668 | 2005-05-23 04:25:00 | O/S - 98SE, RAM 256, using Netscape7.2 - which in the last few days has been "playing up", like, from a new Windows startup opens fairly quick and is fine but progressive openings are slower to the point where it won't open at all; result - restart and the cycle resumes - any logical reason for this? - no virus, spyware or the like - i see a new version out v.8.0 (8.1?) - maybe i should upgrade to that? but don't really want to rush in too early - have always used Netscape and don't really want to change but? - would appreciate your views | jayal (1291) | ||
| 357669 | 2005-05-23 04:29:00 | Defragging might help. v8 of netscape has flaws so dont use it yet, until 8.01 / 8.1 gets released. Try cleaning / deleting temp files / cache |
