rebooted computer....did another run of it...exactly same results? its as if the spyware hasnt been deleted...

the results are showing....

357678 2005-05-23 04:25:00 You can remove the entries in the registry, if u know what to delete.

Or post a hijackthis log back here. You may have other spyware/malware on your system.

What version of Adaware have u got?? 1.05??

357681 2005-05-23 05:14:00 Go to this page ( . mypctuneup . com/evaluate . php" target="_blank">www . mypctuneup . com) and follow the instructions to download, install and run the Aurora uninstaller program .

After that go here ( . inet . tele . dk/le01/Sikkerhed . htm" target="_blank">home9 . inet . tele . dk) and get ABIremover . zip . Extract it and run ABIremover . exe

Rescan with Adaware, fixing everything it says . Make sure you check for updates first .

Next download, install and run these:
SpyBot V1 . 4 . majorgeeks . com/download2471 . html" target="_blank">www . majorgeeks . com
MS AntiSpy - . microsoft . com/downl . . . wareInstall . exe" target="_blank">download . microsoft . com (if Windows XP and W2K only)

Ensure that you check each for their definition updates and fix anything they say .

After doing the above reboot then run HijackThis and post your log in this thread . DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YOURSELF YET .

357685 2005-05-23 06:35:00 Then what happened? :D

...er...then I had to fix the resulting damage.

I started to do it manually, got the squirts with that after a few minutes and threw the Winsock fix app at it, she was all rosy within a couple of seconds.

Meh, Not much of a "then what happened", Just seeing if anyone else was silly enough to select the delete everything option.....

It's why I have reformatted lately, just have to be a bit slower on the trigger.
