I forgot to mention that you will probably have to search the web to find the patch file, AMDK6UPD.EXE, because I don't think the MS have it available any more. |

This is the method I used to use when I didn't have a correct ghost image for a Win9x PC (which might work here since motherboard is said to be different). Boot to safe mode and remove most of the devices from device manager - motherboard drivers, etc.
Reboot and let Windows (hopefully) sort itself out. Warning - not always a straight forward process and you may need some drivers on hand. |
