358035 2005-05-24 09:32:00 Friends,
I now have this nice dell notebook with a S-XGA, whatever super screen (widescreen). It comes with a resolution of 1680x1050 and the color quality settings are 'highest 32 bits'. Now this looks just great with small sized fonts. The bigger fonts, and also images are very jagged though. Like the phrase PressF1 and 'New Zealands PC World self help forum' on this site look like it should put my glasses on.
Is there something in those setting that I should change?

Cheers!!

358036 2005-05-24 10:22:00 What's the notebook's native resolution? Are you using that?

It may also be that most users are using 1024*768, which is why sites are optimised for that, so when someone comes along with 1600 pixels it's a bit of a problem

How do I find out what the native resolution is. This is what the notebook came with when I received it straight from the factory.

358038 2005-05-24 10:54:00 The documentation will tell, but if you haven't changed it odds are it's the default. Can you take a picture (with a camera) to show us? Edward (31)

Cheers
