| 357872 | 2005-05-24 02:34:00 | olldaddy78 Have you by any chance emptied your recycle bin? If not, you could reinstate the files from there. Oxie (Lyn) |

Word should open and if it does, go to Start > Search and type the same in again to find where it is on your hard drive. When found, right click and choose Create Shortcut and drag that shortcut onto your Start Menu. Do the same for Excel but look for EXCEL.EXE |

| 357875 | 2005-05-24 04:32:00 | Try reinstalling Microsoft Office. It may be best to first uninstall what it is on there now as it appears to be corrupted / missing files. | Strommer (42) | ||

| 357878 | 2005-05-24 05:29:00 | It's always dangerous using wild cards like ~*.* . A space in the wrong place converts a single item into a list and delete will happily delete a list. :( If you are using the DOS delete command, it's a good idea to make the command as a DIR one: dir ~*.*, to make sure it expands the way you want. Then call back and edit the command line to do the delete. | Graham L (2) | ||
