358551 2005-05-26 01:04:00 When I go into temporary files on my computer there are always two files that say I can't delete because it is being used by another program could you tell me what they are use for and how do I delete them (they first appeared when I first connected to the internet)

The files are:
~DF725B
~DFAB24
spaceman8815 (4112)

also turn off "hide known file types" etc so you can veiw the extention.

358553 2005-05-26 01:11:00 Do they appear in the Content IE folder? In which case they are part of your system files. You can delete the contents but not the file.

If it's not that try deleting them in Safe Mode, that way the program should not be running. HTH..........m :cool:

%temp% and then these files appear

Not familiar with XP. If that's what you mean and can't get rid of them then try it in Safe Mode.

Or boot into safe mode and delete them.

358558 2005-05-26 06:46:00 Have a look at the properties of the files. If the date and time look right, they are "in use" because they are being used "right now". If so, you mustn't remove them.

Temporary files are created for a reason. ;)
