| 358643 | 2005-05-27 04:10:00 | Mepis Lite for Win98 Users (www.mepis.org). Be aware that this is a testing/beta version of Simply Mepis. However, Mepis itself is stable, so there shouldn't be any significant bugs if any. | Murray P (44) | ||
| 358644 | 2005-05-28 01:01:00 | Thanks for that. I'm looking at some of them now. It still doesn't answer the question though : Does downloading from an ftp site still count against my monthly quota or is it 'free' because it uses a different port? Cheers Ravage |

This will count towards your monthly quota. | Jen (38) | ||
| 358646 | 2005-05-28 02:12:00 | checked out the site. followed the links, various versions available from 1.8 to 5.0. will the newer versions still work on the older machine? I would suggest 3 which I use on a PII 400MHz with 64MB RAM. The SOHO version is fine. You don't have to run KDE; 4 is probably fine too although I haven't tried it (I have tried 5.0.1 though). :D |
