358436 2005-05-25 12:34:00 Hey,

Does anyone know of a utility or two for Linux (I'm running Gentoo, not that it matters much) that has the same features/functions as the following windows programs:

VirtualDub
TMPGEnc

I really only use the top program to join xvid's and the bottom one for vcd's/svcd's

There's some AVI util as well that Ive used once or twice to split/join AVI's, but I cant remember the name of the top of my head.

It was some small gtk-based app.

Kino never worked for me sadly :(
