359063 2005-05-28 00:49:00 Hi

A while ago I did a disk cleanup and one of the options was to compress old files. I did that. Now when I open Officexp Excel it asks to install but it also works if I press cancel a number of times. Access has problems, so does outlook. I think it must have something to do with compressing their files (as I mainly use Word). I went through the Windows folder and spent some time uncompressing files but it didn't fix the Excel problem.

Is there a way to uncompress all these files? I have no system restore point as my computer was recently ravaged by viruses.

Thanks

359066 2005-05-30 04:07:00 What about Outlook? It says something about a dll not working. Is it to do with compressing files?

Thanks

359068 2005-05-30 05:46:00 Hi

Outlook xp says when just opened (Outlook Today): "The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL" it pops up 6 times.

For excel, the program works but for some reason wants to install itself each time I load it.
