| 359983 | 2005-05-31 06:35:00 | I've been putting a lot of my music onto the HDD of Flaptop, and found the best methord of encoding the music was to let KDEs built in encoder do it for me . Its great, it shows the AudioCD as a collection of file options, including a virtual directory of . oggs which i rather like . Copying this virtual directory can take some time, but the process is seamless, except for one small issue . . . . . . . . When i have a look at the "files" on the audioCD, KDE runs of to some CDDB thingy and finds all the track names and stuff for me . . . . . great . . . . . untill i put some obscure CD in like say one of my friend Mels demo CDs . CDDB identifies this not as 4 tracks by "Emerald Green" but as "Less Than Jake - 01 - All My Best Friends Are Metalheads (Radio Edit) . ogg " and 3 other tracks . . . . . . . . :yuck: Bloody wonderful . . . . . . . . . . . . So apart from pulling the plug on the net everytime i go to put an . ogg onto my HDD, is there any way of turning the CDDB "feature" off? |
