| 360495 | 2005-06-02 03:28:00 | hi everyone. you may remember my thread about two screens. Well, I'm almost there ;) Currently i've got 3 graphics cards. One S3 ViRGE PCI, one S3 ViRGE -DX/GX PCI (It had compaq written on it, hmmm...), and they work fine in the Philips 105/S and Philips 105/E respectively. But now for the catch. The third card I picked up was a Cirrus Logic 5430/40 PCI card. And it;s not playing well in the existing Philips 14" screen I have. Device manager complains that it dosen't work very well with multiuscreens, and i should get an updated driver. pffft. Anybody know of a place I can get one that will allow it? Second thing is the screens. The 105/s works, but is slightly dark, and the 105/E has this horrible tint of green to it. I'll atrtempt to get a physical pic to show. Any suggestions on what to doi? There isn't any visible colour button, and I fear I'll have to get windows to do it, which makes upgrading awful Thanks,Edward :) |
