360104 2005-06-01 07:16:00 Put up a screenshot JJJJJ, as it will be easier for others to see what needs moving where. Make sure the taskbar is not locked when you do this. Jen (38)

360106 2005-06-01 09:57:00 Hmm ... lets see if I can do this from memory ...

To the left of your inbox taskbar item, is a small vertical grey bar. Click and hold on this thin bar using the left mouse button and while still holding it (don't release the button until I say so), drag it straight upwards which will make the quick launch icons jump over to the right. Then drag the bar over to the right so that the quick launch icons jump back next to the start button. Now release the mouse button. You should now be able to resize the entire taskbar by dragging it down to a single bar width again.

Well that is the plan at least! :p Fingers crossed that did the trick.

360107 2005-06-01 10:05:00 What probably has happened is that you have made the taskbar extra long by moving the "Dotted Line" too far to the right .

To fix this do the following:

Grab the bottom dotted line by using your left mouse button and move it up and closer to the left on the top .

This will, in effect, make the Quick Launch bar shorter .

Once you have moved the dotted line, you should be able to shrink the taskbar back to normal size by hovering the mouse pointer at the top edge of taskbar till the double arrow appears then draging the bar down one notch .
Now right click on taskbar on empty spot and select Lock the Taskbar . This will save you the same thing happening again . If you do want to move the bar or increase its size later, just right click on bar again and uncheck the Lock the Taskbar option .
