I was installing Moz.177 from the pc world cd when I was notified "A previous Moz. has been found (173), Unrecognised 3rd party components will be removed to prevent incompatibility and will have to be reinstalled." Am I safe to carry on? I do not know what they are refering to so would have trouble re-installing these. |

These will be extensions that you have installed in Mozilla. See here (addons.mozilla.org). It is best that they are disabled as often there are incompatibilities between existing extension versions and new versions of Mozilla. You can re-download the extensions after updating Mozilla. |

I find that it also wipes out any plugins. Right pain having to reload them, so now I select the option to leave them there. Haven't had any issues with it. |
