| 360138 | 2005-06-01 01:00:00 | Have acquired an infection from assumed safe email attachment as follows. Multiple and rapidly repeating ++++ signs now appear at random in address and search bars. Current avg's do not detect any infection. Signs progress and temporary deletion effected by highlighting and deletion but have to be quick! Can anyone suggest the cause and permanent solution to this vexing problem please. Thanks. Tsuga |

| 360140 | 2005-06-01 01:06:00 | You could try an online virus scan and you could also scan for spyware/adware aswell | Overdrive_5000 (4950) | ||
| 360141 | 2005-06-02 11:26:00 | Thanks for reply. No the + key is not jammed. Neither PCillan or EZ report any virus. Ditto Spybot reports a clean Computer. So back to square 1. Cheers. |
