| 361110 | 2005-06-04 08:14:00 | There are other issues that affect the "bloat" of pictures in Word as well. One is the type of image, not all .jpg are equal it seems. The phase of the moon and the colour of the neighbours cat also seem to affect the outcome. I have created sequential documents and the file sizes have varied by a factor of 10.... Word 2003 "compress images" works well though, and I can not observe any degradation in printed or viewed copies when using it. Not sure if this was an option in earlier versions though. |
