361348 2005-06-06 13:36:00 Nearly all sorted, this (sal.neoburn.net) is how every thing is connected, everyone is surfing the net.

First problem was my wiring of one of the RJ45 plugs, now sorted.

Note I have also noticed I cannot have the IP range over 10.1.1.30, but have left the image as is to keep it simple.

Computer 30 can see and ping everything on the lan.

Computers 10 and 20 can see and ping everything apart from the computers connected to switch 3.

I also connected an access point to switch 3 to extend the lan even further. The laptop I used to test could see and ping everything and surf the net.

So it would appear the problem is with the computers connected to switch 1 that cannot see past switch 2.

Should I try a 192.168 ip range? Or should I wait till the morning and hope everything has corrected itself?
