Im putting together an i5 4690 with a MSI Z97 U3 Plus motherboard and I have an Antec 750 watt power supply. When I push the power button on my case nothing happens. A couple of times it tune on for half a second then die. I have a good power cord. I have the 6 pin plug into the motherboard because it wont take all 8 pins and I doubled check my power switch which the lettering is supposed to face the outside of the board. Any suggestion? |

You DONT put the 6 pin plugs in, they are for Graphic Cards, and will have the Letters PCI on them
The Actual Power Supply Feed will have 8 pins. Just checked that PSU and it does have a 8 pin connector. |

I needed to put in both of the 4 CPU pins. |

Thats about right, :) most of the 8 pined plugs for the power are split on the same cable and will snap together to make the 8 pin, this is so any motherboards that still have only a 4 socket connection will be pinned correctly. |
