1386209 2014-10-13 18:21:00 I was given this external dvd drive a couple of years back, and I wouldn't mind getting it working for the next week until I get a new DVD drive.

It's plugged in, and Windows has detected it, but alas, it's not installing properly and looking for a driver for "cypress at2lp rc42".

Any help to get this working is appreciated. I only need it until about the middle of next week.

But the inf file in the file on this site is only for Windows 2000

1386216 2014-10-13 19:58:00 Nope, no luck with any of them. Ah well. Guess I'll just go without a disc drive for the week haha. I went to put in a dvd yesterday and then remembered I had no disc drive lol.

Oh the bottom of this thing says it's from December 2005 ad the model IMW8844DL83-52 S/W:VSI3

Yep, I tried that, no avail. I even tried the right hand click install method. No luck with either.
