1386552 2014-10-22 03:50:00 I know of several people who were always iPhone /iPad users, then changed over to Android. When asked why, some of the reasons were , the Android just felt easier to use, and not so many hoops to jump through. One common one was items they had stored in iCloud had disappeared and no chance to recover them.

Everyone to there own I guess. :)

Channel 13 doesn't work... *spooky* :devil

Oooh .... is Channel 13 like Area 51 to the Americans? They are trying to pretend it doesn't exist :nerd:

1386554 2014-10-22 05:19:00 a "stunning fail" it is not

Your fail WMG, is that you think a cRapple device would have behaved differently than the OP's hardware.

It would not have in this instance.

Or perhaps you were aware of that and are merely being disingenuous or deliberately obtuse?

Why did you bring these wonders of U.Seless tech into the thread?

iShares dropping?

And if you add them together you get 64, the international calling code for New Zealand. Definitely something shady going on... Bet John Key knows something about it... :p

Yup, I'm not complaining. It does make it easier if my mum wants to know how to do something on her iPhone - like put an app on it or send an image on Viber. (its easy for me but quite daunting for her). If she has any issues I normally get my fiancee to explain how to do stuff. I don;t think she would be able to grasp the technicalities of an Android phone and nor would she want to.

1386557 2014-10-22 17:34:00 My step son has both an android phone and a iPhone (work supplied). bearing in mind the first phone he owned was also an iPhone he can't stand the iPhone now when compared to his android phone.

My wife tried the iPhone too then went and bought an android phone as it was easier to use for her, cheaper and didn't need a stupid iTunes account to be able to do anything. I had no bearing on what she bought as I was overseas at the time and still using an old flip phone.
