| 1386285 | 2014-10-17 06:22:00 | Coz the entry-level plan is the same speed as VDSL2 for most people. My brother in law regularly syncs over 55mbps downstream on VDSL2. I get around 25 myself. Upload is the same. That means that I'm going to be getting 20% more but I have to muck around with changing routers and having my driveway dug up. For most, it's a nice upgrade, but I'm just giving you a heads up on why a lot of people won't need to go UFB. Spoke to a IT guy today at lunch. He's still on ADSL and he says Youtube HD is fine and ditto Netflix which his daughter watches. He's probably close to the exchange. When we had ADSL we got 18MBps anyway ... |

We've been on it for about 4 years now and it keeps getting better. Started out at 50/10 from memory then went 50/50 and now it's 100/50 download/upload speed. Our data has also gone from 150GB to 300GB and now 500GB now and the price has stayed at $99 per month. Our awesome ISP has since put us on their 2.5TB plan at no cost since we refer so much business to them. :D |

Probably still have to ask the landlord anyway. Altho I probably wont anyway. Just updated the adapters here for ADSL. Dont fancy paying again for UFB if I have to |
