| 1373172 | 2014-04-21 04:59:00 | I tried the Mail Washer Pro, but I prefer Version 1.32 which I have used for many years. I have 6 Email accounts and find Mail Washer very useful to manage all the accounts without downloading anything. The only shortcoming in the early version is that it will not handle IMAP. | mzee (3324) | ||

Not all spam, but at least it allows you to see what to let through, INCLUDING several times that CryptoLocker :devil I too have used it for years and wouldn't be without it. I can clear my mail, including TM notifications etc which needn't be downloaded, in very short order and for my business account , it lets me check unknowns (that could be potential clients) to establish who and what they are. Spoofed URLs show up in all their glory and WHOIS differentiates the possibles from the probables. I get a similar number of unwanted emails per day, sometimes more, sometimes less, and I like the 'zero risk' comfort that MW provides, though it won't protect you against your own stupidity of course!
